about Shanel & Aylwin

Congratulation Shanel Shanty James-Santiago and Aylwin

remember Shanel? alah..that cute sabahan girl who got paired up with me almost every other week during that reality - tv show way back in 2004 (yes! that reality TV show...Hu3) and if you remember that show, you would remember Aylwin, the music director of the show, the MD of Sunday Lollies (betul ke aku tulis ni?) and Ning Baizura's Music Director.

Anyway, 6 days ago they tied the knot in Taiping after courtship of 4 years (yes it has been 4 years) and i was the first to know they they were dating (i think so) way back then... and tonight they held KL reception in the Hideaway OKR KL.

.

I was there, so were our realityTV mates, Misz and Jimmy. Ning and hubby was there and so was Miss J Victor and Nikki and off course Mr Manager.

.

I arrived late because as at 8pm i was still in my office trying to finish my work (plus the traffic was super BAD due to balik kampung rush) rushed over to the wedding reception, thinking about food for buka puasa (had coffee in the office earlier)... arrived at The Hideaway around 830pm and saw Mr Manager and Ning... went straight to work (business talk on my new project for Enfiniti for TV) and forgot that i havent eaten.... working still huhuhu...

.

But it was a nice gathering for friends and family and i am glad that i made it there, very private, very family, very fren-fren kind. i like. i enjoyed. almost didn't because of work and traffic. but i am glad i did.

about Dafi's 19th Birthday

I went to Dafi's 19th birthday which was his first birthday with his Dafinates (fans) today at KL Tower . Seeing him grown in such a short time, i'm so proud of my boy, he handles the crowd well and he gives a speech pretty well too! Politician in a making perhaps? (bapa borek anak rintik kot, huhuhu)

But what makes me more proud was that his singing has improved tenfold! and his confidence level are way better as it is evidenced in him handling his fan, getting the crowd scream and scream for him!

Although i would say there are parts of the event arranged by DFC can be potong out from the day's agenda, i would say by the end of the day, Dafi saved the day and with him singing songs at the end which was really was the highlight of the event. there are some familiar faces amongst the crowd, some friends from the press (although it's their off day for most of them), Dafi's family and fanatics.

His friends from AF5 were not there because most of them are busy, some are now in Kuantan for the Gempak Selebriti ASTRO event, some with recording and what not, but i think it's ok since this is a day out for Dafi and his fans. we were entertained by the KL Tower cultural dancers, the VID (committee member of Dafi's fan club) plus the tandoori and beriyani was EXTRA DELICIOUS as Vernon and Abang Najmi would agree because we all went on for 3 plates tanpa malu hahaha.

about si cayak kah? rizal... and can't sleep...

i thought i recovered from fever but during Tempest's rehearsal today, i wasn't feeling that good still. but the problem with me is when i work, i don't show that i am sick. nak buat camna? dah happy berkerja.

Seantero Malaysia Brunei dah tau Rizal tersingkir malam Sabtu lepas. dah agak dah sebab dah beberapa minggu ni dia asyik dibawah. kesian si rizal. ada bakat dia ni tapi aku tengok more to acting dan kalau acting hmmm lebih kepada watak jahat. Ingat Nasir Bilal Khan?

Balik dari jogging tadi terus tertidur lepas mandi tapi terjaga sebab telepon berbunyi ring ring ring... SiPenang aku telephone sebab nak tanya pasal income tax, my accountant dah bising sebab aku belum sign form aku lagi katanya... alamak. habis conversation i pun apalagi... buka Tv tengok diari AF. habis je Diari ingat nak sambung tidur... eh eh... muzik @ ria dengan si rizal. all the best to you bro. dunia realiti lebih besar dari realiti TV. jumpa nanti kita belanja awak ok. yang paling best was Sean Ghazi dengan izlyn. congrats bro for the 8 AIM nominations but yang paling I'm jealous about was that bloody superchantek beautiful super cool video clip for Semalam! geram aku tengok because it was simply fantastic. Terus aku sms si Izlyn to comment (although she's live on tv) .

After that ingat nak tidur... eh eh lupa pulak ada rancangan si Adipati Ampang ni pulak AC DiSini. nampak lah si Sultan Muzaffar , Vernon dan Joe Lee ditemubual pasal kes diaorang. terus aku call SM sempat borak dengan dia pasal kes tu sekejap. aku harap korang semua take care ok. hope segala ugutan itu tak menjadi dan yang bersalah akan dibawa ke muka pengadil. all the best guys.

Dalam duk sibuk check email baru sedar dah pukul 12 mlm. kena tidur ni esok awal awal kenan pergi AF. Dah. mana pil xanax aku ni. kena telan sebijik baru boleh tidur. goodnight. arghhhh

about spending time with "bestest frens" (with Ning enter frame)...

I got a call from Ida Mariana about our lunch date at Bangsar Village II today and i was so happy to finally find some free time to meet up with them, was told that Sabrina Hassan will be there and so will Mei. to my surprise, Pat Ibrahim and his babs was there and so was Faizal (Sabrina's other half).
it was great since it was quite sometime ago we all chit chatting sebegini. banyak gila gossip gossip jahat yang kita orang cakap sampai tempat tu macam kitaorang punya... dalam pada tu tetiba terperasan sorang yg cantik duduk blakang kitaorang ... eh, Ning! said hello to her tapi keshian si Ning... tak boleh cakap sebab dia kena simpan suara.Ning sakit katanya but she looks good. begitulah , walaupun sakit tetap mantain.hope u'll get better soon k dear.
but whatever it is best jugaklah sesekali dapat berborak ... seronok dapat mengunkit cerita cerita lama dan yang lebih seronok bila dapat cerita benda benda yang akan datang yang membuatkan saya teruja. alamak... tak boleh cerita kat sini la sebab benda tak komperm lagi but, malaysia, be prepared to be WOW again hehehe.

lama jugak la kita orang kat situ yang penting dalam 7 orang disana dengan makan salad dan keks sahaja bil nya... RM250 hinggit... fuyoh! aku pun nak buka kedai salad la macam ni. tapi makanan sedap. but then again standard la mahal macam tu area bangsar ni... tetapi... tetap money well spent.

the moral of the day is, no matter how busy u r, there's something that money can't buy.... good chat with your best friends. so kalau busy sangat tu.. sila sila cari/curi masa untuk kawan. trust me, it's a good therapy... so... click those numbers and call them.

this is the latest update on my lost maybank ATM card case... i called them just now because no update from them and jeng jeng jeng... they dont even know that i reported the case!!! so what happen to the 3 long forms that i filled in the other day? bagus, syabas Maybank sebab buat kerja sebaik ini... so kelam kabut budak perempuan tu cari forms/reports aku sebab aku dah marah tahap gaban kat dia (kesian pulak). i think esok i'll pay them a visit... kalau takde juga... tak taulah apa jadi.
