Ok, before i move on... i must warn you that my posting this time is a bit unusual from my normal posting but if u were to continue reading till the end, you might understand why this posting is a bit TECHY and i am not surprise if you were to do the same too ... Right. How should i start...

I remember those days when i rushed home from work simply just to jump onto my sofa to watch (religiously mind you) 2-3 geeks and nerds (and sometimes smokin' hot girls too) banter on TV about the latest gadgets... they argued, they agreed, they show-offs, they blabbered anything "tech" and i used to drool over those gadgets... ya those were the days of TechTV on ASTRO. I am sure some of you misses it as much as i do ...

then there were "BeamFest", at least once a month me and my buddies from (now defunct) MyPDACafe.com original members get together to "tunjuk terror" and show-off our latest gadgets!... PDA were the hot stuffs back then, WINce and Palms were the must have and we blogged, we argue in the forum and we happily get fat and makin Starbucks richer by hanging out there with our gadgets (starbucks was the only place with free wifi back then) and then ... some of us got older, got married, got kids and moved away...

then there were Social Medias... MySpace, Friendster came and tried to kill  MySpace and then Facebook came and killed everyone, Twitter came and became the closest thing to having ur idols' phone numbers where u can sent short messages to them and get them balas or response back to you (sometimes)... 

I am a big fan of twitter and facebook but i do miss those TechTV programs and tech forums where we endlessly argues with each other and I miss my buddies at MyPDACafe where we chat and banter during "BeamFest"... and then, there is #LOLshow aka Life On Line show!

In episode 11 , the foursome chatted on the latest Twitter, Facebook and the movie, WikiLeaks, Google Wave's failure and even the Yo-Rice/Yorais hashtag !  it's nice to finally stumble upon a very nice and healthy "discussion" where the discussion is being discussed from our perspective and in a very intellectual way without being to intellectual (go figure LOL!) even to a point where one of them left the show because his friend is waiting at the door ... that's how personal the show gets... i felt as if i was there watching them talks... with that said, maybe guys, your next episodes should be a video podcast :) 

Now, back to my opening paragraph... why is this posting a bit unusual ... well, LOLshow is so kind to give away a Blackberry Curve 3G!!! and I WANT TO WIN THIS!!!!!! if only i knew about this much much earlier, i would have blog sonner but hey... i hope there is still enough time for me to win this. WHY DO I NEED to win this SWEEEEEEET Blackberry Curve 3G?  apart from the facts that this Blackberry has a 2MP camera with Flash, GPS!, WiFi and 3G, Media Keys and optical TRACKPAD!!! (i don't have to blow the BB ball ever again whenever it get stuck), well my old faithful Bold is so old... everytime there is an SMS sent or coming in, the Bold will go to SOS SimCard Error mode and I HAVE TO RESTART every time!  the telco couldnt help solve this so i hope LOLshow can help me solve this problem (hehehe).


So now you know why i am posting this... and maybe you all should try posting too!  (i am praying hard that i will win this muahs!!!)

What do i like about the show?... well the show is very personal... easy to follow and sounded very friendly... the duration of 30 minutes is just nice... and not to heavy for my normal internet speed ... i didn't have a problem listening/streaming to it... although i thought it would be nice to see them talk (video show) because i do feel as if i was there watching them.  Definitely will follow :) ( can i win pleaseeeeee) LOL!

Petaling Jaya, Selangor, 08 December 2010 – Lakefront Records Sdn Bhd, a recently established local recording label, is pleased to announce the release and debut of their R&B artiste, Nadia Aqilah, with her self-titled album.

“I had always dreamed of this moment and now it’s a reality... I can’t believe it!” exclaimed Nadia Aqilah about the launch of her album. “I almost gave up hope a while back, but music gave me strength so I kept at it, and before you know it, I was in the studios recording my album!” Her Malay single, “D.I.V.A” has been receiving air-play on a local radio station the past few weeks.

Last seen in her stage performance in the local musical, “The Sparks of Broadway,” which was where Lakefront Records Sdn Bhd. CEO, Bryan Tan, recognised her talent instantly. Within weeks, she was in the studio recording her first solo album.

The self-titled album, composed and produced by the young musical prodigy, Daniel Veerapen, with lyrics written almost entirely by Nadia herself, was recorded and mastered entirely in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It also features LA Hip Hop artiste, KJ The Artist, a member of the sibling duo, Chrome Cats (also signed to Lakefront Records) Their collaboration on the song happened by chance, when Lakefront Records CEO forwarded the song to the Chrome Cats.

Now with the album done, Nadia is poised to launch her career as a solo artiste, The album consists of ten songs, of which three are in Malay, namely “Teman,” “Percaya,” and “D.I.V.A,” all penned by Nadia. “This album is totally me. I’ve finally found an avenue for my voice, it’s in R&B, and I totally love it!”

About Nadia Aqilah

Nadia Aqilah Bajuri  was born on August 16, 1985 in Batu Pahat, Johor and raised in Ampang, Selangor.  Her early beginnings in the musical scene saw her as a member of two female bands/groups, M’Braze (1998-2000) and Luscious (2000- 2007) Desiring to further pursue entertainment, Nadia ventured into acting and dancing, was quickly noticed and offered roles in various local musicals and television programmes, notably “Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical,” “P. Ramlee The Musical,” “Emil Emilda,” “Sindarella,” “Merah Puteh” and “Tari Tirana.” But singing is where Nadia’s passion ignites. Her professional musical influences range from Mariah Carey to Ella, Aisyah and Francesca Peters.

been out of touch with some of you faithful frens and readers for a while now. so i thought i should drop a short note.

After PRTM ended it's second run with a BANG last Sunday, I've been busy still. Since PRTM started till now... i haven't had a proper day off but i am not complaining because with new responsibilities i am the happiest boy around. at least it keeps my brain busy. Big projects coming soon and i am excited!

but off course 5 days after PRTM ended... i am feeling a bit empty. i miss all of them ... maybe i'll write a longer note on how much i miss them. later lah...

Tahniah Ning - Omar yang melangsungkan persandingan mereka di dalam Dewan Martrade opps salah tempat, Kampung Nekmat! Yup! seluruh didewan ditukar suasana menjadi perkampungan yang diberi nama kampung Nekmat. Cukup bagus sekali ide ini dan rata rata kedengaran orang memuji muji majlis malam tadi. siap dengan rumah pengantin, sungai, reban ayam dan kambing!!!

Apa yang perlu dipuji juga ialah hidangan makanan! saya yang duduk sekali bersama Cikgu Fatimah (AF) dan keluarga berserta Cikgu Najmi bersetuju sekali bahawa makanan kampung yang disediakan lazat sekali!

Dapat dilihat suasana kahwin orang kampung kerana rata rata tetamu yang hadir semuanya berpakaian ala-ala kenduri kampung dengan batik, pelikat dan pelbagai. saya teruja masuk dewan kerana perasaan rindu ke kampung terubat seketika takkala masuk kedewan.

Pujian mengunung harus diberikan kepada penganjur majlis yang bertungkus lumus mengendalikan majlis. sememangnya majlis kenduri kahwin Of The Year! terima kasih Vernon kerana menjemput.

Apa yang penting, majlis kenduri tadi cukup releks santai dan bersahaja tetapi tetap ada class tersendiri dan memang wajar saya katakan ini majlis kahwin terbaik pernah saya hadiri. pelbagai acara diadakan tetapi kerana acara malam tadi begitu releks dan personal, masa berlalu cepat sekali kerana masing masing seronok, ber poco-poco, ber joget lambak dan pelbagai. sekali lagi saya nak puji pihak yang membuatkan majlis tadi meriah sekali.

kalau nak tengok gambar gambar yang banyak saya ambil ketika majlis silalah jemput ke cheddgraphy. mana tau kut kut gambar anda ada disitu... hehehe

about juara lagu malam tadi

Tahniah kepada anak muda Estranged untuk kemenangan Itu Kamu. Sebelum keputusan di umumkan, saya dan Liza Hanim sudah agak lagu ini bakal juara. tahniah juga untuk Nora, Sahri/Kaer, Mawi dan Jaclyn Victor masing masing untuk kemenangan di Juara Lagu malam tadi.

Sepanjang malam saya sibuk mengambil gambar sebenarnya hahaha kalah photograher profesional tapi apakan daya itu hobi saya. seronok juga sebab teman kat sebelah saya si Liza Hanim (yang sentiasa cool dan gila gila) bersama hubby dan megat (PGLm and P Ramlee Musical) jadi kami pun berboraklah sepanjang malam komen itu komen ini hehehe tapi seronok sebab tempat duduk kami yang smack center betul betul depan pentas tu memang puas hati cuma saya rasa sound system ditempat saya agak kurang.

Rata rata persembahan malam tadi sungguh memberangsangkan sebab nampak gaya semua cuba untuk memberi yang terbaik. walaupun rata rata persembahan malam tadi baik dari segi koreografi, vokal dan sebagainya, kemenangan berpihak kepada Mawi yang saya rasa berbaloi kerana memang mantap. Seronok tengok Mawi dengan budak budak tu menari!

Teruja saya melihat ramai kenalan dipentas menari dan menyanyi. persembahan Nora bagus sekali dengan tema Samudera juga kemunculan kembali siti di pentas Juara Lagu dengan imej terbaru. saya sudah tengok semasa sessi latihan beliau bersama penari tetapi ini pertama kali saya lihat Siti menari penuh bersama, all dressed up... gempak siut! Kata Aubrey Suwito dibelakang pentas , Siti benar benar berlatih bersungguh sungguh untuk persembahan malam tadi sampai di airport pun boleh berlatih! hahaaha . kalau kengkawan nak tahu, koreografi Samudera dan destinasi Cinta di karangkan oleh Pat Ibrahim.

bagi vokal terbaik pula Jac Victor memang tak boleh disangkal lagi. tetapi disini saya ingin puji penyanyi penyanyi pengganti , Fiq, Sahri dan Bob yang membuktikan mereka ini memang mantap walaupun ini bukan lagu mereka tetapi mereka telah lakukan yang cukup baik sekali! Persembahan selingan dari Dayang, Nikki dan Ziana juga tidak kurang hebatnya!

Malam ini juga saya seronok sebab dapat jumpa ramai rakan rakan lama yang dah lama tak jumpa seperti Tria (yang mengiringi Fazli Zainal), Esar (gangstarz) Liza, Atilia yang datang bersama Ibu Pn. Salamiah , Michael Xavier Voon, Dafi dan beberapa peminat lama saya (ingat lagi korang kat i ye heheh) yang kebetulan datang dari jauh untuk menyaksikan AJL!

Malam tadi banyak gambar yang saya ambil sampai hampir 80% kapasiti 2GB sd card saya penuh dengan gambar gambar huhuhu tetapi kalau anda nak tengok banyak gambar gambar paling saya suka yang yang saya ambil sekitar malam tadi silalah ke cheddgraphy!

about Tiara and her new baby name Ruai

I was invited to the soft launching of Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina's latest project, The Ruai Bistro( I think that's the name) at Borneo Rainforest Sunway last night. a lot of familiar faces i saw there last night, Atilia and her husband (congrats on your anniversary babe), Melissa Saila and her family, Pat Ibrahim and others were there celebrating the soft launch. you can see come photos here at cheddgraphy.

Driving pass the area i was shocked with this new building besides Borneo Rainforest and i immediately felt very welcome within the environment and i especially love the grand entrance. go to cheddgraphy the see the photo of the entrance.

Not even a year after Borneo Rainforest Cafe opens her door, The Ruai was born. The concept as i can see is different from Borneo Rainforest Cafe where at the cafe , it is family oriented while here at The Ruai, it is more hip and happening with entertainment is the main focus here. what is very clear is the very strong feel of Serawakian (DS Effendi's home-state) decos every where giving me the feel as if i am in Serawak!

Datin Seri Tiara and Datuk Seri Effendi latest baby, The Ruai is an extension to the now very popular themed eatery outlet, Borneo Rainforest Cafe in Sunway Lagoon area . The Ruai at Borneo Rainforest is a young, hip and happening bistro with Serawak cultural theme decked throughout the outlet. with great environment, waterfall, music and long house and without a need to fly to Serawak to experience Serawakian hospitality, The Ruai is a great place to hang out with friends and family. just drop by and chill. it's very theme-park like!

about Dafi's 19th Birthday

I went to Dafi's 19th birthday which was his first birthday with his Dafinates (fans) today at KL Tower . Seeing him grown in such a short time, i'm so proud of my boy, he handles the crowd well and he gives a speech pretty well too! Politician in a making perhaps? (bapa borek anak rintik kot, huhuhu)

But what makes me more proud was that his singing has improved tenfold! and his confidence level are way better as it is evidenced in him handling his fan, getting the crowd scream and scream for him!

Although i would say there are parts of the event arranged by DFC can be potong out from the day's agenda, i would say by the end of the day, Dafi saved the day and with him singing songs at the end which was really was the highlight of the event. there are some familiar faces amongst the crowd, some friends from the press (although it's their off day for most of them), Dafi's family and fanatics.

His friends from AF5 were not there because most of them are busy, some are now in Kuantan for the Gempak Selebriti ASTRO event, some with recording and what not, but i think it's ok since this is a day out for Dafi and his fans. we were entertained by the KL Tower cultural dancers, the VID (committee member of Dafi's fan club) plus the tandoori and beriyani was EXTRA DELICIOUS as Vernon and Abang Najmi would agree because we all went on for 3 plates tanpa malu hahaha.

CHEDDgraphy was chosen because he couldn't think of any other names ...
